Cookie Policy
Effective Date: March 21, 2026 · Last Updated: March 21, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Navayug Labs LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Residency Space (“Residency Space,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our website located at residencyspace.com and all related applications and services (collectively, the “Services”).
This policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which provides further details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites function properly, improve user experience, and provide information to website operators.
Cookies can be “first-party” (set by the website you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by a different domain than the one you are visiting). They can also be “session” cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them).
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as:
- Local Storage: A browser feature that allows websites to store data locally on your device with no expiration date
- Session Storage: Similar to local storage but data is cleared when the browser session ends
2. How We Use Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use a minimal, privacy-respecting set of cookies and storage technologies. Here is a complete and transparent accounting of every cookie and similar technology used by the Services:
A. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Services to function. They enable core functionality such as authentication and security. You cannot opt out of these cookies because the Services cannot operate without them.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Stores your authenticated session token so you can remain logged in as you navigate between pages. Required for all authenticated features. | First-party, HTTP-only | Session / persistent (refreshed on activity) |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier | Supabase | Used during the authentication flow (PKCE) to securely verify login attempts and prevent cross-site request forgery. | First-party | Session |
B. Functional Local Storage
We use browser local storage to remember your display preferences. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
| Key | Purpose | Data Stored | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | Remembers your light or dark mode preference so the interface displays correctly on return visits. | "light" or "dark" | Persistent (until you clear browser data) |
3. What We Do Not Use
Transparency is important to us. As of the effective date of this Policy, we do not use:
| Technology | Status |
|---|---|
| Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, etc.) | Not Used |
| Advertising or retargeting cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.) | Not Used |
| Social media tracking pixels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) | Not Used |
| Cross-site tracking technologies | Not Used |
| Browser fingerprinting | Not Used |
| Web beacons or invisible pixels in emails | Not Used |
| Performance or A/B testing cookies | Not Used |
We are committed to keeping our tracking footprint minimal. If we introduce any new cookies or tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before deploying them.
4. Third-Party Cookies
As of the effective date of this Policy, the Services do not set any third-party cookies. The only cookies used are first-party cookies set by our authentication infrastructure provider (Supabase) on our domain.
If you use the Services to make a payment, you may interact with Stripe’s payment processing interface, which may set its own cookies subject to Stripe’s Cookie Policy. These cookies are set by Stripe on their domain and are not under our control.
5. Managing Cookies & Your Choices
You have control over cookies and similar technologies through the following methods:
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences through their settings. You can typically:
- View what cookies are stored on your device
- Delete all or specific cookies
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Set preferences for certain websites
Please note that if you block or delete the essential authentication cookies described above, you will not be able to log in to or use the authenticated features of the Services.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
Local Storage
You can clear local storage data through your browser’s developer tools or settings. Clearing local storage will reset your theme preference to the default.
6. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. Because there is no universally accepted standard for how to respond to DNT signals, the Services do not currently respond to DNT signals. However, since we do not engage in cross-site tracking, the practical effect is the same -- your browsing on our site is not tracked across other websites.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, recognizing the GPC signal is consistent with our existing practices.
7. California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding cookies and tracking technologies, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information collected through cookies.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. For complete information about your California privacy rights, please see the California Privacy Rights section of our Privacy Policy.
8. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our use of cookies, changes in technology, or changes in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy
- Provide notice through the Services or via email for material changes
- Obtain your consent before introducing any non-essential cookies, where required by applicable law
We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
